[most newcomers to the realm of Luceti would be more concerned or focused on trying to leave this place or find answers. not to say that this certain resident hadn't checked out everything there was about this place after shortly arriving. he'd learned to leave those little wings on his back alone too after trying to give them a little tug and smarting more than he expected. but sometimes there was just some things that a man had to take care of that just couldn't wait. and what was that, someone might ask?]

[having set his journal down in front of him, a newcomer didn't quite anticipate that the video portion would be on at this point when he set it down. must have been a slip of the finger. but slowly but surely...]

[the fridge on the floor Goku's on in his apartment may or may not look a little...ahem...barren. sorry. excluding what he picked up on the way back. patting his stomach and wiping his mouth, he reaches for the journal now and looks into it. oh, it was on? he's not that technologically dumb thanks to the Briefs family, so he knows the video's on. but he didn't quite figure out that it recorded his entire dining escapade either]

Right... Now that I can think straight,

I'm supposed to be able to use this thing to talk to other people here, right? Guess that means I wasn't the only one taken away... I can't sense anyone's energy back home. Instant Transmission doesn't work either.

Well before I make my next move, I should get the facts straight and find out if everything I've seen and been told is real or not.

Ahahah, wow. Quick on a draw there, Vegeta. But hey, even if we don't fuse, I just mean we can try and attack the barrier together!

Something's gotta give, and I doubt these guys have ever dealt with two of the mightiest Saiyans alive.

I don't know Kakarot, that blasted barrier is easily the toughest thing I've come across. Not a single scratch from my own attempts. It's infuriating that something like that even exists.

[He's pretty proud of how Goku phrased it though. They were the most powerful beings in the universe, after all.]

Well I only tried it earlier with Saori as a Super Saiyan. But I'll bet with our combined strength, even if we don't break through, we could do some damage! It's better than taking things lying down. And if we even so much as make one crack in the thing before it reforms, we're getting somewhere.

What do you say, Vegeta? Want to give it a shot sometime?

[oh he can tell. even after defeating Majin Buu, he and Vegeta had finally established what could be called a friendship. whatever the future held for these two Saiyans, he could tell that the connection was there. one way or another. the thought of fighting him right now was an exciting one. and it was becoming harder and harder to resist wanting to throw down] You ever want a chance to make the low-class clown kneel before the Prince, now's your chance.

[oh now he's just challenging him. even through the journals, the vibe that resonates between these two...it's astounding]

[He does not turn down a challenge like this when offered. He's been dying to fight his fellow Saiyan, and he will not pass on this chance. At least it won't be interrupted by his stomach this time.]

[that 'sometime' that Goku was talking about? it could be now. definitely now. besides, this would only serve as the beginning. after this was all said and done, training with his longtime friend in the making would only cause further trouble for the Malnosso. besides, the thought of being outmatched and having to surpass himself, even if this was the kind of battle that ended short of death, would be a great test. could it be...that Vegeta was even stronger than Bills now? or was the realm of godhood still out of their reach without the right circumstances? just how powerful was Vegeta now?]

Let's do it, Vegeta. I still remember how strong you became when you fought Lord Bills. [the tone in Goku's voice mandates that the way he's talking about it now, even if he teased him before at Bulma's expense, was that his words now were further genuine] You've come a long way. Let's see just how far you've gone.

[and with that, Goku'll head off in the direction of the Battle Dome, closing the journal in the process and slipping it on the inside of his uniform]
